Season 3 / Episode 2 / Bad White:
I was immediately interested in knowing more about what seemed to be a team of rogue doctors trying to find a cure. Who are they and who are they working for? Turns out this isn’t as interesting as I was hoping and it didn’t really go anywhere. Feeling conflicted about how things ended with Fet, Dutch has teamed up with a new group of friends who immediately let her down. Who’s willing to bet she packs up and heads back home with her tail between her legs? I was a little disappointed about how obvious this felt. Eph’s internal struggle with a choice presented to him to potentially save his son comes across as genuine and heart felt. Eph (Corey Stoll) and Fet (Kevin Durand) are definitely the most enjoyable to watch, and the half human, half strigoi character is quickly becoming a favorite of mine as well. The show can feel a little forced at times, but overall this season is off to a strong start and I’m looking forward to next week.
