Something is lurking in the darkness at Tarker’s Mills. Once a peaceful community where life proceeded at a slow, even pace, the town has become a hunting ground for a grisly murder. Thirteen year old Marty Caslow, confined to a wheelchair, is convinced that the murderer is a monster of some kind.
